The Horder Agency, Inc.  has been an independent insurance agency located in West Seneca, NY since 1981.  We have since moved our office to Hamburg, NY. It is a family owned business, with Jim's wife Pat also becoming licensed as an agent throughout the 1990s, and eventually the hiring of his daughter Gina in 2013.  We treat our clients as if they are our own family members as well.  We have provided our policyholders with affordable high-quality coverage and local personalized service for their Auto, Home and Life insurance needs.  We have guided them through disasters, and provided them with peace of mind.

James Horder, CEO and Founder

Jim started in the financial industry in 1971 with Sentry Insurance and Metropolitan, winning multiple industry awards and leading award winning teams. With his extensive knowledge of the insurance industry, he opened his own Agency in 1981 and sold all lines of insurance. As the owner and President of The Horder Agency, Jim plays a critical role in negotiating and implementing highly competitive and innovative programs for his clients. Jim is also an active member of the Lions club and other local organizations.

In his spare time, he enjoys decorating his condo, which is located on the Niagara River, and taking his friends and family out for boating excursions.  He also enjoys woodworking.

Gina Horder-Croft, Vice President

Gina brings over 21 years of banking and insurance experience. Currently, Gina is licensed to provide Life, Disability, Auto and Homeowners Insurance. She has also earned the ability to monitor for pre-licensing exams, as well as teach continuing education classes within the insurance industry. Gina continues her education to reflect the constantly changing insurance environment.
